I have finished the first 4 volumes of The Unselec I have finished the first 4 volumes of The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion by Beth Brower. And I am utterly obsessed with them. The characters. The emotional depth. The heartache. The lighthearted humor. The friendship. The idea that a romance is blooming, but I cannot tell with whom. I cannot get enough of my dear Emma, The Photographer, The Duke, The Vicar, and The Reprobates 10. Please PLEASE no spoilers, but if you're still here- what team are you on?
If you need me for the foreseeable future I'll be If you need me for the foreseeable future I'll be in 19th century London with my friend Emma M Lion. It's been years since I read a historical fiction. You would never know it's one of my favorite genres. I devoured book one with my friend @faeheavenstudio. I don't really know how to explain what I liked about this book. Following along with Emma's thoughts throughout the day was such a fun experience. Emma herself is witty and loveable. The story is simultaneously upbeat and sad. I'm not sure if I'll read all of the journals at once, but I'm definitely going to jump into vol 2 immediately and then I'll probably make it my entire personality and keep reading. Definitely recommend The Unselected Journals of Emma M Lion. Especially if you went through a Jane Austen phase at some point.

I've obviously been thinking a lot about ACOTAR be I've obviously been thinking a lot about ACOTAR because it's one if my favorites and the new book is coming out soon. I know I'm in the minority for this one, but I never found it believable that Feyre just turned into a fantastic painter. But it became so important to the series that I just had to accept that she did.
