put you in a reading slump. You need to read The Kindred’s Curse Saga by Penn
Cole. 

What is the Kindred’s Curse Saga?

The Kindred’s Curse Saga is a four-part adult romantic fantasy
(or romantasy) series set in the world of Emarion. Emarion is a continent
divided into nine realms. These realms are ruled over by the Descended (demi-gods)
each with their own specific kind of magic. The descended have been oppressing the
mortals of the realms for centuries and the mortals are ready to fight back. This story follows our FMC Diem, a mortal healer, who finds herself suddenly thrust into the world of the Descended after the mysterious disappearance
of her mother. She navigates this new world while trying to find her mother,
being recruited by the mortal alliance, being closely watched by the handsome
Descended Heir, and discovering secrets about herself. 

The Books

The series currently has three completed books with the
fourth and final book to be released sometime this year. The author has not
stated an official release date, but has said the book should be done soon. Personally,
I loved all of these books, but my favorite so far has been Glow of the
Everflame.

Bonus Chapters:

There are two bonus chapters for Glow of the Everflame available for free by signing up for Penn Cole’s newsletter on her website – https://www.penncole.com/ . These chapters should be read after completing Glow of the Everflame to avoid spoilers.

The first three chapters of Burn of the Everflame are also available through Cole’s website.

The new print edition of Spark and Glow of the Everflame will also contain exclusive bonus chapters from Luther’s POV.

Where Can I Read Them?

The first three books are available for free with a kindle unlimited subscription. The fourth book will also be available through the service when released. You can also purchase physical or ebook copies through amazon. However, the author has recently announced a publishing deal that will make it easier to find physical copies in books stores near you starting in October 2024.

All three books are currently available to listen to on Audible.
