The Ashen Series Novella Update
If you have never read The Ashen Series by Demi Winters, it is an AMAZING Viking inspired romantic fantasy! It’s gory, it’s romantic, and most incredibly it does an amazing job discussing topics like substance abuse and agoraphobia. (Plus, it has some new morally grey men). It’s a planned 5 book series with the first two books, The Road of Bones and Kingdom of Claw, already available and the third in the works. While we wait anxiously for the third installment of this series, we may be able to dive back into the world of Istré faster than we thought!
Demi Winters just announced the release date, cover art, and title for her self-published novella for the series.
The cover is SO beautiful and follows the theme of the other two books featuring a prominent character in the book. This book specifically is about Hekla and her journey during the events of Kingdom of Claw.
Roots of Darkness is book 2.5 of The Ashen Series and will be available for purchase and on Kindle Unlimited June 10 2025.
