Let's be book besties!
I've been sick all week, so instead of starting a I've been sick all week, so instead of starting a new book I decided to do a reread of Fourth Wing. Look, I'll be the first to admit this series isn't perfect. It's a little cheesy and I'm not a huge fan of the writing. But I don't care. I love it. It's so entertaining. Tairn is the best character. He's so old and grumpy and I love him. I'm so ready to know what not book 4 is. Who's your favorite Fourth Wing character? Do you reread books you love?
Romantasy girlies- how is your Dungeon Crawler Car Romantasy girlies- how is your Dungeon Crawler Carl journey going? If you started out reading SJM, you are eventually going to wind up reading Dungeon Crawler Carl. And you're probably going to like it. I don't make the rules. I did not expect to like Dungeon Crawler Carl at all, but it is so freaking entertaining. And the audiobook?!? Oh. My. God. I don't really listen to audiobooks, but these are phenomenal. And, as always, I've found the typos too late. At least you know I'm a real person.
This might be my new favorite indie book. I went This might be my new favorite indie book. I went into Because I Killed Him by @edith.birde knowing pretty much nothing about it and I'm so glad I did. This book is almost 700 pages and I was engrossed for the entire thing. It really felt like it needed to be that long. The 1920s inspired dystopian world was so interesting and unique. Pretty much the entire book had me feeling anxious. But what I love most is how much I feel like I know the characters. And the romance? I had no idea this was a romance going in, but it gave me butterflies. There is so much left to explore in this world and I am going to be waiting eagerly for the next installment.

This is the year of DNFing books that I am not enj This is the year of DNFing books that I am not enjoying. I have pushed through so many books out of curiosity or because I spent money on them and don't want it to be a waste. Borrowing from the library and using Kindle Unlimited has taken away the guilt of not finishing books. Some of these were probably just bad timing. What do you think?
