I have a notoriously black thumb. I try my hardest to garden. I’m starting to get better at it (last year I successfully grew pumpkins and sunflowers), but my gardening skills are basically non-existent. If it cannot simply be watered and then left alone, a plant is not surviving with me for long – even then it’s pretty iffy. However, despite my inability to successfully grow plants, or simply keep them alive I LOVE plants.
When I was young, my grandma and my great-aunt had the prettiest gardens. When I would ask them for advise, they would tell me to just keep trying. Apparently, they would just plant things and they would grow. Sounds easy enough. Unfortunately, I’ve managed to kill so many plants it’s almost unbelievable. My skills with plants are comparable to the bad guy in the movie A Troll in Central Park.
If you are anything like me and would LOVE plants, but can’t keep them alive this is the place for you. I have found several free plant crochet patterns to help decorate your home without the added stress of trying to keep these plants alive.
